TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking and Payments: - 

Booking form must be completed before the swimmer's first lesson.

Payments must be scheduled (See Below) before the swimmer's first lesson.

When booking you are committing to the full term, this be cancelled at any time by yourself contacting the swim school. The monthly subscription will be cancelled if fees are up to date then the subscription will be cancelled if not the a cover charge will be applied to the fees before cancellation. If this the cancellation is mid way through the local school term(see cancellations).


Monthly Payments One month in advance.

Covering Charge If you register mid way through the term/month the advance payment(cover charge) will be applied to ensure the correct fees are paid.

​Cash payments will still be taken (with prior agreement) in full on first class attended.


Cancellations: -

Lessons cancelled more than 2 weeks before the first lesson will receive a full refund.

Lessons cancelled less than 1 weeks but more than 24 hours before the first lesson will receive a 50% refund of full months fees.

Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the first lesson will receive no refund for the lessons that have been paid for the month paid for in advance. Any scheduled future payments will be cancelled.

Lessons cancelled mid month through the local school academic term, the fees will be paid until the end of that month. No refunds will be given in this case.

Lesson Cancellations: -

If a lesson is cancelled due to a fault of the pool or company, there is a 1 weeks deduction in fees built into the monthly subscription to allow for any cancellations during the term. If more than one lesson cancelled then fees will be refunded on June payment as this is the last payment of the term. This will only change if you leave prior to the end of the term and your fee are up to date.

Poolside Protocol: -

Parents are not allowed to watch from poolside due to terms and conditions of pool hire from School/Local authority that the swim school must follow.

Parents can deposit and collect children from poolside a few minutes before and after class.

No photography is allowed on poolside due to child protection issues. If you wish to obtain a picture of your child swimming, you must contact the swim school in advance of the session, and we will try and accommodate this where possible.

 

Illness: -

Vomiting/Diarrhoea: - it is important that if you have had vomiting/diarrhoea then you must stay out of the pool for a minimum of 48 hours after the last episode.

No refunds will be given for illness.

Data Collection: -

The swim school needs to collect, maintain and use personal data relating to yourself and any participants to allow us to register correctly for lessons, Please keep you up to date with any changes relating to lessons - change in medical condition, emergency contact and new bank card details. Your personal data will be stored on our electronic system and shared with the participant's swimming instructor and lifeguard, where appropriate. It will not be shared with outside parties. Your personal data will be held for the length of time the participant attends lessons and 3 months after that, after which time it will be destroyed. If you wish to be removed before this time, you can do so by contacting Swim school.
